“FIESTA NIGHT” MEXICO AUCTION FUNDRAISER

Providence Bible Church in Rocklin is preparing for a Mexico Mission Trip from April 1-7, building homes for people in impoverished communities. We are joining efforts with Valley Springs Presbyterian Church in bringing over 100 people to help those less fortunate in Ensenada, Mexico. Each person is asked to raise $400 for the trip, and each house we build costs about $5,000 to build. Our Church will be building one home, so we are trying to raise as much of this amount as possible in this one fundraiser. In order to make this monumental achievement happen we are putting on a fundraiser on March 3rd, called “Fiesta Night.” This night includes a meal served by the students, entertainment, raffles and a silent auction full of items donated by local businesses.Please come support this group by coming to this fun night.

This is a test run for a community blogging effort based on Charles Spurgeon’s “Morning and Evening” devotionals. Charles Spurgeon was a pastor for many years in England and was referred to as the “Prince of Preachers”. He wrote many books, started a college to train pastors, and preached to what many consider the first mega-church in the world during the 19th century.
