June 28-July 4th! 5615 Pacific Street in Rocklin (Kmart Parking Lot)
We need your help! There are many specific ways you can help:

1. For those 18 and over – please consider signing up for at least one shift of fireworks sales. The most important times will be all day Friday-Sunday, July 2-4. That is a very busy period. A “shift” is usually 3 or more hours, but whatever you can do will help!

Hours of Operation: 10:00am – 9:00pm every day (help after 4:00pm is needed most)

2. Buy your fireworks from us! For some that means driving past five or more stands, but your support is greatly appreciated. Also, encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same!

3. Come by to say hi and bring some drinks and/or snacks. The less that the youth ministry spends on items like food and drink, the greater amount of profit we make for our youth ministry’s budget.

4. Come meet Steve Bolin! He’ll be hanging out all week and will be ready to meet and get to know as many people as possible during the week.

5. Students of the U.C. – WEDNESDAY is the day we absolutely need you to come out and support the cause. Meet at the booth at 6:30 p.m. (have dinner first). We are going to have 100′s of flyers to pass out to surrounding communities asking them to support us and it will include a discount as well.

6. Students of the U.C. – Get dropped off or drive over for several hours anytime you want just to hang out with Chris and Steve. We’ll have a canopy up for shade, drinks to stay cool, and plenty of games to play. The more students who come, the more enjoyable the experience.

7. Guys of the U.C. – Guys hang out night will be Wednesday night starting at 6:30 (community blitz). Later we’ll watch a movie and be up til the wee hours of the morning hanging out.

If you have any questions, or would like to sign up for specific times you will be able to help out, please email Chris – chris@providencebiblechurch.org – or call him at 916-202-3741

This is a test run for a community blogging effort based on Charles Spurgeon’s “Morning and Evening” devotionals. Charles Spurgeon was a pastor for many years in England and was referred to as the “Prince of Preachers”. He wrote many books, started a college to train pastors, and preached to what many consider the first mega-church in the world during the 19th century. For more details on Charles Spurgeon, click here.

So, how does this work? By clicking on the link below, you will be taken to a site that has an online version of “Morning and Evening”. After reading Spurgeon’s thoughts, we’d love to have you comment on it. At the beginning of your comment, tell us which day you’re commenting on and whether it’s the morning or evening reading (Ex. December 9, morning reading). With each new day, the link will refresh automatically and have the current day’s morning and evening devotional thoughts. We’d greatly appreciate your feedback and want to know if this should become something we have on our blog all the time.

Welcome to the PBC Dialogue. This is a place for the people of PBC to read articles and respond to them. We believe written words can be powerful tools for God’s glory and declaring His Kingdom on earth.

Our goal is to encourage the body of believers not only at PBC but anywhere they are, so anyone is welcome to read and respond. This is only a “dialogue” if people are responding – so you are highly encouraged to put your own thoughts down as well. If you would like to contribute by writing articles on a regular basis, please email Noelle at noelle@providencebiblechurch.org and we would like to speak with you about what it entails. Check back regularly as articles will be added often and more people will be consistently writing in the future. Enjoy!
