Children’s Ministry at Providence
Each Sunday morning begins with children 3 years to 5th grade in the main sanctuary where they can worship with their families. Children are then dismissed with their teachers to their classes. Each class is packed with Bible lessons, fun games, and activities. Your kids will have fun in a safe environment as they learn about God and how much He loves them.

Nursery (Infants-3yrs)
Our nursery is located in the main building near the kitchen and restrooms.
Our nursery program is filled with fun and learning! We have a “Teen Teacher in Training” who goes into the nursery for 15min. to have Bible time with the children. This time includes a short Bible driven story; a short, easy-to-say-verse; songs; and a paper to color. We believe that it is never too young to begin the teaching of God’s Word! The remaining time is filled with playing and reading books.
Our program is for Infants through 3 years of age. Our volunteer staff is amazing with the children. Because our baby and toddler program is combined at this time, we always have plenty of staff on hand to give adequate attention to both age groups. The staff doesn’t watch your children… they interact with your children!
Preschool – Kindergarten (3yrs-5yrs)
Adventure Kids
Classroom is located next to the nursery. Kids attend worship with their parents, then are escorted by their teachers to class.
Our primary class is full of adventure. It is geared for ages 3-kindergarten. We use the curriculum as a guide to teach children Biblical truths. These children will participate in singing, Bible verses, reenacting, hands-on activities and art projects. Our teachers make it fun and exciting to be an Adventure Kid!
This class participates in our incentive program. For doing each of the following, the children receive a special coin: attending, bringing their Bible, saying their Bible verse for the month, and/or bringing a visitor. Once a month the children may “cash” in their coins for special prizes at the store.
1st-5th grade:
Super God Squad
Classroom is located in the portable classroom behind the preschool building. Kids attend worship with their parents, then are escorted by their teachers to class.
Our elementary class is in the format of a junior church. It is geared for 1st through 5th grades. The children participate in worship through songs, lesson driven games and activities, Bible verses, and a Bible lesson. The teachers get right in the mix with the kids and participate in all activities in the worship service….leading by example!
