Children’s Ministry at Providence

Each Sunday morning begins with children 3 years to 5th grade worshipping with their families upstairs in the main sanctuary. Children are then dismissed with their teachers to their classes downstairs. Each class is packed with Bible lessons, fun games, and activities. Your kids will have fun in a safe environment as they learn about God and how much He loves them.

Our nursery is located on the main floor near the church entrance.

Baby Nursery for Newborn-12 months

Toddler Nursery for 12-36 months

Babies and toddlers are cared for in a safe environment by loving volunteers.

SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES

Preschool - Kindergarten (3yrs-5yrs)

Classroom is located inside the nursery.

In the Pre/Kinder class, children learn a Bible story, play a fun game, make a craft, and have play time and snack. They will have fun in a safe and caring environment where they can play and interact with other children while learning that Jesus loves them.

1st-4th grade

Classroom is located at the end of the nursery hallway.

1st-4th grade kids are taught Bible lessons, play games, make crafts, and build relationships with other kids. They will learn that they are a special part of God’s plan and that He loves them very much!

5th-7th Grade Class

We are aware that the kids this age feel that the regular Sunday School classes are too babyish and want something different. So we began a new class just for them! We want to help preteens understand their own faith by digging into the Bible for answers to issues they grapple with most. There will be cool videos, games, weekly challenges, plus a place to create their very own safe and secure online community with the Grapple website!
