What has PBC meant to you?
Being part of Providence has been an incredible experience. It started with a Bible study in our home and became an official church on September of 2005. The best part of starting a church is watching God bring a group of people together for the purpose of accomplishing the greatest mission ever given to man - proclaiming “The Supremacy of Christ.”
What do you enjoy?
Playing golf with good friends, reading books by C.H. Spurgeon, and watching my Wisconsin Badgers.
Best Advice:
“Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness”(Jesus) and everything will turn out alright — Paraphrased by Rick
Getting to know Chris Ritter:

My main responsibilities are to oversee the Jr. High and High School ministry at PBC. This includes “Elevate”, our Wednesday night gathering, Community groups, discipleship, service opportunities locally and internationally, and fun social nights like dinner and a movie or swim parties.
Education:
Victory Christian School for both Jr. High and High school (Carmichael, CA)
Graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University (San Diego, CA) with a B.A. in Philosophy and Theology.
What has PBC meant to you?
PBC has meant belonging to a family. In my time here I’ve been privileged enough to connect at the heart level with students, parents, and many more people not directly connected to the youth ministry. It is definitely the family feel that sets PBC apart from any other place I’ve been.
Quote or Advice:
“Be the change you want to see in the world”
What do you enjoy?
Activity of all kinds, but especially basketball and golf, the show LOST, swimming on a hot summer day or night, learning new things about people, just about any kind of food (fastest way to my heart!), and seeing people come to understand what God is calling them to in life.

What has PBC meant to you?
Helping to start a church has been an amazing experience! Watching God work and learning to trust Him in all we do has stretched my faith. We all rely on Him to work through us and He does! I love that Providence is a Bible based church. Pastor Rick preaches and teaches the Bible and it really makes a difference in your walk with God.I also have made some great friendships here and that is very important to me.
