Our Mission
Providence Bible Church is a community of believers striving to following Jesus Christ and becoming more like Him, bringing glory to God and the gospel to those around us. We are convinced that God is not a means to an end but is the very reason for which we exist. Therefore we want to enjoy Him forever as our supreme joy and everlasting pleasure. We believe that the gospel, as taught in the Scripture and lived out through the church – changes everything. “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.” Romans 11:36

Our Story
Providence Bible Church started officially in September 2005 with a core group of ten families. Our original plan was to plant somewhere between Lincoln and Rocklin in an area known as the 65 corridor. After two failed attempts to attain a building in this area, God directed us to the facility that we are currently occupying. That is church planting in a nut shell – you move, God directs. The best part, we love our location and the building that oddly enough looks like a church – go figure!
Providence is a daughter church of Valley Springs Presbyterian Church located in Roseville, California . The weird part is that we are not Presbyterian. The cool part is that it doesn’t really matter in the end. What matters is that we glorify God, point people to Jesus, and work together as brothers and sisters in Christ. Pastor David George understands this and that’s why we are considered a daughter church. All of us at Providence are grateful to body of believers at Valley Springs for their love, support, sacrifice, and partnership in the gospel.
Our Beliefs
Providence is an evangelical, independent Bible church that proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible. We hold to all the doctrines of classic, historic, orthodox Christianity, including:
-The full inspiration, truthfulness and authority of Scripture
-The belief in a Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
-The full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ who reigns supreme and is Head over the church
-The need of all people for personal forgiveness and reconciliation with God that is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone!
Our Governance:
We are a church that is led by an Elder team consisting of men meeting Biblical qualifications outlined in Scripture. We believe the role of the Elder is to humbly lead the church, preach and teach God’s Word, protect the church from false teachers, and to care for the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of attendees making up the body of Providence Bible Church.
