Our Mission

Providence Bible Church is a community of believers striving to follow Jesus Christ and become more like Him, bringing glory to God and the gospel to those around us. We are convinced that God is not a means to an end but is the very reason for which we exist.  Therefore we want to enjoy Him forever as our supreme joy and everlasting pleasure.  We believe that the gospel, as taught in the Scriptures and lived out through the church – changes everything. “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.  To Him be glory forever.  Amen.”  Romans 11:36

Our Vision

Our deepest desire is to follow Jesus by making disciples that love God and love others.

We do this by:

     RESPONDING to God in Love and Worship,

          PREACHING the Gospel of Jesus Christ,

               EQUIPPING Believers to Serve in the Body, and

                     REACHING our Communities with Good News

Our Story

Providence Bible Church started officially in September 2005 with a core group of seven families. Our original plan was to plant somewhere between Lincoln and Rocklin in an area known as the 65 corridor. After two failed attempts to attain a building in this area, God directed us to downtown Rocklin. That is church planting in a nut shell – you move, God directs. The best part, we loved the building and oddly enough it even lookedlike an established church – go figure! After three and a half years we moved to our current location, The Rocklin Community Center, which gives us room to grow and lots of space for kids to play!

Providence is a daughter church of Valley Springs Presbyterian Church located in Roseville, California . The crazy part is that we are not Presbyterian. The cool part is that it doesn’t really matter in the end. What matters is that we glorify God, point people to Jesus, and work together as brothers and sisters in Christ. Pastor David George understands this and that’s why we are considered a daughter church. All of us at Providence are grateful to body of believers at Valley Springs for their love, support, sacrifice, and partnership in the gospel.

Our Beliefs

Providence is an evangelical, independent Bible church that proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible. We hold to all the doctrines of classic, historic, orthodox Christianity, including:

  • The full inspiration, truthfulness and authority of Scripture
  • The belief in a Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • The full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ
  • The need of all people for personal forgiveness and reconciliation with God that is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone!
  • The bodily resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous; The righteous to everlasting communion with God – the unrighteous to everlasting separation from God
  • The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and gives spiritual gifts for the building up of the church

Our Governance:

Providence is led by an Elder team consisting of men meeting Biblical qualifications outlined in Scriptures. We believe the role of the Elder is to humbly lead the church, preach and teach God’s Word, protect the church from false teachers, and care for the body’s spiritual, emotional and physical needs.
